The Rotary Club of Hyderabad Mega City, Club ID 26549, in Rotary International District 3150. We are a member club of Rotary International, and information you give us may be handled under Rotary International’s own privacy policy as well as this one.
What we collect, and why
When you send us a message
Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you write. We use it to reply. It is stored on this website and emailed to the club secretary.
When you register for an event
Your name, email address, phone number, your own Rotary club if you have one, how many places you want, and any note you add. We use it to run the event — to know numbers, to plan seating and catering, and to contact you if something changes.
When you tell us you are interested in membership
Your name, contact details, your profession, and what you tell us about your interest. We use it to invite you to a meeting and to follow up.
When you are a member
Members’ details come from the club roster held by Rotary International. Names, roles and professions may appear publicly on this website. Email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses are shown only to signed-in members, and each member can change what is shown about them. Home addresses are never displayed anywhere on the site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
- We do not share it with other organisations for their own purposes.
- We do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it.
- We do not run advertising on this website, and there are no advertising trackers on it.
How long we keep things
Event registrations are deleted once the event is over and attendance has been recorded. Messages and membership enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Member records are kept for as long as the person is a member of the club.
Who can see it
Club officers who need it: the president, the secretary, and whoever is running the event you registered for. The website is hosted by a hosting company that necessarily holds the data on its servers; it does not use it.
Cookies
This website sets a cookie only if you sign in as a member, in order to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Nothing is shared with advertising networks.
Other websites
Some events link to a Google Form for registration. What you enter there is held by Google under Google’s own terms, not ours. The same applies to any link on this site that takes you to rotary.org, My Rotary, or a social media platform.
Photographs
We publish photographs of club events and service projects. We ask for written permission from people who appear in them. If you appear in a photograph on this site and would rather not, write to us and we will remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the club secretary and we will act on it. If you are a member, you can also change or remove your own details on the site.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below.
